International Film Club with UF & Cinema Politica
|
| Together with Cinema Politica, UF present our International Film Club every second week, with free screenings on international themes. The screenings take place on Mondays, even weeks, at 17, in Sappören, Sprängkullsgatan 25th All events are in English and is free and open for everyonel. After the film, we usually go to a nearby pub to talk about the film and have a good time. Resor och andra evenemang
In addition to our film screenings, the section is also arranging study visits and trips for our members to various interesting destinations, to get a more concrete and deeper insight into international politics. If you want to get involved in the section you will get the opportunity to participate in everything from coming up with ideas on destinations, planning and marketing, to actual implementation of the trip. We have previously visited the COP 15 climate conference in Copenhagen, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(UD), SIPRI and the Utrikespolitiska Institutet (UI) in Stockholm
The Section also organizes social activities of various kinds, such as dinner parties and pub nights. One aim of the event section's activities is that the members of the association should be given an opportunity to socialize and have fun together and get to know each other. UF visiting UD in Stockholm ->

Event responsibles Emma and Marie
Emma Backman och Marie Steiner are responsible of the event section and together with the rest of the section are they ensuring that the work of the section is well distributed and that there is a breadth of activities: screenings, trips and other events.
