|     Welcome to UF: The Society of International AffairsThe Society of International Affairs in Gothenburg (UF, Utrikespolitiska Föreningen Göteborg) is a politically and religiously independent association with the ambition to create interest and to spread knowledge about foreign policy issues. We do this in particular by substantial lectures, current debates , exciting film screenings and by publishing our magazine Utblick. Different lecturers, from top politicians to activists, are invited to presents different topics every week. We have been visited by Swedish foreign minister Carl Bildt and many more. Are you interested in international issues and want to get involved in one of Gothenburg's largest student associations? Read more about our working groups , talk to us at any event or contact us, using the website. Don't hesitate to bring up your questions!
Most of our lectures are for the moment held in Swedish, but when English ones are coming up the information will be in English and you will find it in the calendar. The film club is always in English and if you want to get involved in any of our working groups the meetings will of course be held in English MembershipYou can become a member for only 50 sek per year, which is giving you free entrance to our lectures and film screenings . You
also get the opportunity to go on trips and find internships and courses
through LSU and a subscription to our magazine Utblick.
